President | Founder
Evan is originally from Maitland, FL (Orlando area). He moved to Charlotte after graduating from the University of Florida. Evan has held a multitude of positions within large national and regional builders along with small local contractors. All of his experience has molded Carolina Classic Builders into what we are today.
Evan started the company because he wanted to offer customers a different building experience.
“I wanted to ensure each project truly was geared to the individual, couple, or family. Making the final product as unique as each of them.”
He’s an active member of the National Association of Home Builders along with community involvement in Rotary and on the Board of Directors for Levine Jewish Community Center.
When he is not working, Evan loves spending time with his wife Debby and their three children Jonah, Shayna and Talia. They enjoy traveling as a family and sharing adventures! When time permits, you can find him either on the golf course or on the ice rink playing an aggressive game of hockey!
Evan has a passion for inspirational quotes and uses them to inspire our CCB family. One of his all-time favorites is from Henry Ford – “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you are right”
Charlotte has always been Drew’s home. After graduating University of North Carolina Charlotte with an architectural degree he became a project manager / estimator with TK Browne Construction Co. He joined the CCB family after TK Browne closed and he has filled a major void in our team. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking and camping with his son, Norman and daughter, Ellen. The outdoor is his favorite room in the house! In the evening you will find him in the garage building custom indoor and outdoor furniture.
Since the age of ten, Fairview (just outside of the Mecklenburg County area) has been Pennie’s hometown. She has a strong sense of family and community and joined the CCB family in June of 2018.Pennie started working in the construction industry right out of high school. What she brings to the CCB family is invaluable. She performs a variety of job duties and is able to access a situation and find a solution even when the answer is outside of the box. She enjoys watching a project develop from conception to becoming a building envisioned as someone’s home, business, or church.
When she’s not at the office, Pennie enjoys spending time with Daniel, her husband of 30 years, daughter Kaycie and son-in-law Juston, and grandpuppies Rosch and Luna. They love to swim, clay shoot, fish and being outside together. She also loves traveling, and exploring historical buildings/homes.
